World Children’s Day

World Children’s Day™ at McDonald’s® is an annual global fundraiser for children in more than 100 countries. Each year on November 20th every McDonald’s restaurant donates a portion of their sales to the Ronald McDonald House Charities in their area.

In 2007, the Knoxville House received over $34,500 from World Children's Day activities through the generous donations of the Smoky Mountain Owner/Operators Association.

Again this year, World Children’s Day at McDonald’s will be celebrated around the world throughout November and will culminate on Tuesday, November 20, 2008.
